These terms apply when you buy from The Luminary Candle Company (Rich & Leigh), Holyport, Berkshire. By placing an order you agree to them. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
When you place an order you’ll receive an acknowledgement. Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, when we dispatch it. Occasionally we may be unable to fulfil an order — if so, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.
Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and shown on each product. Delivery is added at checkout — see our Delivery page. Payment is taken securely through Stripe at checkout.
Delivery is covered on our Delivery page, and your right to cancel or return an order on our Returns & refunds page.
Candles are a naked flame and must be used with care. Please read and follow the safety information on the candle’s own label and our Candle care & safety guidance. We can’t be responsible for damage or injury caused by a candle that hasn’t been used in line with those instructions.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of your order. Your statutory rights as a consumer always apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to its courts.
